Application Instructions
Follow these four simple steps to ensure your UV DTF decal adheres properly:

1. Prep Your Surface & Pre-Squeegee the Decal

Surface Prep:
Clean the application surface using either soap and water or a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water. A clean surface helps your decal endure the elements, washing, and daily wear. While the decal can still adhere without cleaning, it's highly recommended for best results.

Pre-Squeegee:
After trimming your decal, place it face down (white backing side up). Using the padded side of a squeegee, press firmly and rub over the entire design 2–4 times. Apply extra pressure to small or detailed areas (like fine text) to ensure proper adhesion.

2. Prepare the Decal for Transfer

Carefully separate the two sheets, ensuring the full design lifts onto the top clear carrier sheet.
Pro Tip: Peel with your eyes, not your hands. Go slowly, especially on intricate designs. If any parts don’t lift, re-squeegee from the back and try peeling again from a different angle.

3. Place the Decal on Your Item

For Small Decals (4" and under):
Align and apply using both hands for control and precision.

For Larger Decals (6" and above):
Start from one side and work your way across to minimize air bubbles and prevent misalignment.
Tip: Leave one corner of the carrier sheet slightly unpressed for easier removal.

4. Complete the Transfer

Once placed, firmly squeegee over the decal 2–4 times. Slowly peel the carrier sheet, watching to ensure every part of the design sticks.
If any section doesn’t adhere, lay the sheet back down, re-squeegee, and peel again from a different direction.

Remember: Eyes on the peel—watch every detail as you go.
